Model 1836 Bravo AR15 Pistol
Our goal is to bring you a Texas Made AR15 that your grandchildren will fight over. A rifle you can be proud of and love for a lifetime. Texas Black Rifle Company’s Model 1836 Bravo is setting the new standard when it comes to the entry level AR-15. With the 1836 Bravo we went back to the basics but still made a few upgrades to give you a badass rifle that won’t drain your wallet. First we threw out the standard plastic handguard and triangle front sight gas block and went with a low profile gas block along with the free float AMR MLOK Rail System. We also threw out the standard stock and upgraded to a Magpul MOE stock. The 1836 Bravo is built with the same great quality and pride as all TBRC weapons and gives you an awesome rifle for under a thousand bucks, allowing you to upgrade as you see fit. All TBRCi Complete AR15 rifles and pistols use an upper and lower receiver precision machined to correct Millitary Specifications from 7075 T6 Forgings and are finished in the best Type III Hard Coat Anodizing available. They also come standard with Ballistic Advantage AR15 barrels. The BA 5.56 and 300blk chambered barrels are machined from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium steel with a QPQ (Black Nitride) Corrosion Resistant Finish and QPQ coated M4 feed ramp extension. The barrel on this model 1836 AR15 is a 8” Government Profile with a 1:7” twist rate and a pistol length gas system. All of our Ballistic Advantage equipped AR15 rifles and pistols come with a 1MOA accuracy guarantee. The barrel extension has M4 feed ramps allowing for more reliable feeding. This Model 1836 comes with a TBRCi 7” Lightweight MLOK Handguard. MLOK is a modular design allowing the user to have picatinny rails exactly where he needs them and nowhere he doesn’t. This feature allows the handguard to maintain a slim profile and light weight without sacrificing strength or durability. The TBRCi Bolt Carrier Group is finished in the same QPQ/Nitride finish as the barrels. This finish is slicker than the standard parkerized finish and makes cleaning your BCG easier. The bolt undergoes MPI (Magnetic Particle Inspection) testing. The Bolt Carrier is an M16 style, otherwise known as a full auto style, carrier. This design has more weight and has a fully shrouded firing pin. The slightly heavier mass of the M16 BCG delays the bolt unlocking by a few milliseconds, this allows pressures to decrease in the chamber, gives a smoother feel and less felt recoil. This BCG comes with a properly staked gas key. TBRCi weapon systems come standard with A2 flash hider, low profile gas block and standard charging handle. The Alpha models come with a Magpul MOE Grip, Magpul ACS-L Stock, Magpul Enhanced Trigger Guard. Perhaps the greatest upgrade the 1836 Alpha receives is the Texas Made, CMC Trigger. The CMC trigger we have chosen for the Alpha models is a single stage, flat bow trigger with a 3.5lb break. This trigger has virtually no take up or over travel and has a clean crisp break and solid reset. We know that you will love this trigger as much as we do and understand why we have chosen to install it in our Alpha series of rifles. We now are offering accessories to upgrade your TBRC Rifle or Pistol. Don’t forget to add a BCM Gunfighter Charging Handle and Magpul BAD Lever make the manipulation of your bolt significantly easier.
